Bulldog Nation would like to congratulate one of our outstanding seniors. Ms. Alexus Hatcher competed in the Annual Pistons Palace Foundation Dream Big Competition on Thursday, February 20, 2014. Alexus did an expressive dance performance before a group of supportive fellow Bulldogs. Alexus won valuable scholarship money towards her college degree.
Students presented songs, dances, essays and more at the Palace as part of the Detroit Piston's Dream Big event. The performances had the theme “How the big dreams of those who influenced African-American history will help both Detroit as a community and you — as a conduit — dream big for the future, and what do those dreams look like?”
