The academic
learning strategy for the two weeks remaining in October
and all of November is to be able to
Paraphrase.
To
paraphrase is to restate an idea in your own words.
Students listen
to what is being said to you by your teachers and friends; practice the
strategy of paraphrasing their statements. Review what you read and practice
the strategy of paraphrasing. Use
a notebook to keep a log of the times that you are using the strategy of
paraphrasing, share it with your teachers for extra credit.
Practice makes perfect!
