The School Code for East English Village is 231-046 to register for the ACT Test. If you have any questions, please see Ms. Holsey in Room C205.

East English Village's Dream Team is hosting a very important youth symposium on Friday, April 17, 2015.  The Project is the dream and vision of Junior DeAngelo Hughes.  Mr. Hughes has worked very hard on his project. Please come out and support him.

UAW Ford Summer Camp

East English Village will have a fun filled summer camp for 8^th and 9^th grade students this summer.  Spaced is limited to the first 250 students and the camp is filling up fast.

1.   Seniors! Submit all scholarship award letters, TIP letters, and financial aid award letters to Mrs. McClure so that all your awards are recognized!!

2.   Seniors! Next Monday, 4/20, there will be a reception for all students admitted to MSU at 11:00

in the Library!!

3.   Seniors! Next Thursday, Henry Ford College will visit at 11:00 in the Auditorium!

Future Scientist Scholarship      - 2^nd Announcement – due this week

.         GPA:                 3.0 or better

.           Can attend either a 2-year or 4-year college/university

.           Must pursue a degree in science – medicine, nursing, pharmacy, dental, med tech, vet

.           2 recommendations – one must be from a science teacher

.           Must have community involvement

.           Amount: $1,000

.           Deadline:           Must be postmarked by…….this Friday, April 17, 2015

Detroit Metropolitan Bar Association Scholarship (DMBA) – 2^nd Announcement – due next week

.           GPA:                 Competitive

.           Must have been a senior on the Mock Trial Team!

.           Must have honors/awards, school and community activities, work experience, other experience possibly

.           1 recommendation

.           Written statement:  Address family size, your financial need for this scholarship, your future plans, do you

            have a desire to pursue a career in the legal field? If not, what are your career goals?                     

.           Amount: $1,500

Conference Of Minority Transportation Officials Scholarship - To promote minorities into transportation field

.           GPA:                 2.75 or better

.           Must express a desire to work in the field of transportation or a related field

.           Must attend a 2-year, 4-year, or technical school upon high school graduation

.           Must have honors and awards, either school or non-school related, civic or community service
